Bhubneshwar

The State Institute for Health and Family Welfare (SIHFW) in Bhubaneswar was all spruced up and wore a festive look on the 17th of December 2011. The occasion was the launching of the Centre of Excellence for Communication, (CoE), a wing within the SIHFW set up to strengthen the nodal BCC institute of the state. 

This study, a product of collective inquiry started with the workshop in 2008 at XIMB that initiated the idea of using the RTD framework in the context of debates on the agricultural policy of the Government of Orissa and the preparation of the report on the lives of the people of Orissa.

WORLP uses the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach and builds on existing assets based on needs of individuals/communities so that people can script their own destinies in a world where there is enough to eat and subsist on. The document highlights WORLP’s mission, which is realized through simple and efficient management of its partners
