Tribal/indigenous people are among the most marginalized, exploited and vulnerable groups in our society. Over the years, they have become a disadvantaged and neglected lot. They are also being increasingly displaced from their customary lands and deprived of their natural resources by various vested interests; as a consequence of their exclusion, they are also victims of human rights violations.

The Integrated Nutrition and Health program’s goal was to bring ICDS and the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) to the global evidences around child malnutrition and infant mortality through a strategy, the ‘Leadership development through Self-Talk’. This toolkit showcases, with evidence and guidance on the focus of the program leaders for achieving program goals.

Janani Suraksha Yojna. Four visually delightful video 60-second spots have been developed by New Concept for NRHM for their Janani Suraksha Yojana programme. These have been released on television, aimed at the rural audience and will be used extensively in training sessions, advocacy and workshops at AWWs, ANMs, Asha Workers and SHG groups.
